Full Kitchens

Each cabin is equipped with custom kitchen cabinetry handcrafted from black walnut or poplar wood and topped with sleek granite countertops. Whether you’re whipping up a family feast or a simple meal for two, you’ll find all the essentials:



Major appliances include apartment-sized fridges and oven ranges, perfectly suited for cooking up your favorite dishes.



Small appliances like coffee makers, electric kettles, blenders, and microwaves are on hand for all your daily needs.



Stocked cabinets with all the cookware, grilling tools, dishes, and utensils you’ll need, making it easy to prepare, serve, and enjoy your meals right in your cabin.

Outdoor Showers

Showering under the stars is a must-try experience at Talking Water! Each cabin features its own private outdoor shower, allowing you to soak in the fresh air and stunning night sky:



Enjoy hot and cold water year-round (except during frost season).



Luxury amenities like scalp massagers, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in each shower, making your outdoor rinse even more indulgent.

Note: Outdoor showers are disconnected from the first frost to the last frost.

Grilling Essentials

There’s nothing quite like grilling out in the fresh mountain air. Each cabin’s patio is equipped with a built-in campground grill, perfect for cooking up something delicious:



The grills require charcoal, which can be purchased directly from Talking Water or picked up at a nearby store before your arrival.



We’ve provided all the grilling utensils you’ll need to enjoy an effortless BBQ with your family and friends.

Laundry

We understand that longer stays sometimes call for fresh clothes. Our laundry room, located in the garage, is fully equipped to meet your needs:



Guests have access to two washers, two dryers, and a utility sink during their stay, using the provided guest door codes.



An iron, steamer, and ironing board are also available for use.



We keep the laundry detergent and dryer sheets well-stocked, so you’ll have everything you need to keep things clean and fresh.

The Pavilion

At the heart of Songbird Neighborhood sits the Songbird Pavilion, a communal gathering space with stunning mountain views:



Picnic tables, benches, Adirondack chairs, and a serving table offer plenty of seating for meals, games, or simply relaxing with loved ones.



The outdoor kitchen includes cabinets, a sink, and an electric griddle, perfect for cooking up a meal while enjoying the open air.



Gather around the central firepit, which features a campsite grill over an open flame for that perfect campfire experience.

Firepits

Each cabin is designed with its own outdoor social space, complete with natural stone patios and cozy seating areas:



Relax around the firepit, where kiln-dried firewood is provided to keep the flames going.



The patios are perfect for social gatherings, whether you’re roasting marshmallows, swapping stories, or simply enjoying the warmth of the fire under a starlit sky.
