Lace up your boots and hit the trails! Our hiking paths take you through the stunning natural beauty of Talking Water’s 82 acres. Whether you’re trekking down to the blue hole or wandering along the bluff, there’s a trail for every level of hiker.

Billy Goat Trail

A ¼-mile trail that takes you past the bluff line.

Flatfoot Trail

A ½-mile walk leading to a serene blue hole on Suck Creek.

Prentice Cooper

Talking Water touches Prentice Cooper on the south end of our property (trails leading into the state forest are in the works!). Visitors to the state forest can participate in various recreation options such as biking, rock climbing, kayaking, horseback riding, swimming, permitted hunting, and fishing.

Chattanooga is quickly becoming a hub for outdoor enthusiasts and we are all about it! We love hosting groups of athletes traveling to town for events. Whether you are in town for youth tournaments, a marathon, IronMan, River Games (whoa, adventurers!), Head of the Hooch, Skyhoundz, or whatever else tickles your fancy, we enjoy hosting passionate sports enthusiasts!
